Collectivism Vs Individualism

The theme of this blog will be an attempt to point out how society is smothering us with collectivist ideas. This is nothing new. All throughout history, great nations arose only to deteriorate in an attempt to keep order by stifling individual thought and creativity.

The disturbing thing is that this nation was designed to be a haven for rugged individualists. That’s what made us into a superpower. This vision seems to be deteriorating with time. We seem to be allowing more socialist and fascist ideas to shape laws and regulations all in the name of security. We seem to have some kind of need for somebody to take care of us.

What it really all boils down to is personal responsibility. Too many people don’t want to be responsible for anything anymore and there are certain individuals and institutions who take advantage of that to gain more power or advantage for themselves.

This blog will explore these trends and expose the people who are encouraging and exploiting it.
